Each of these manufacturers has things to say about their shelving and how they make it, but if you compare the catalogs side by side, the shelf edge
construction is nearly the same, the clips are nearly interchangeable, the posts may vary a little, but the gauge of steel is set by the steel industry, and they all powder coat finish the
product. You may be able to order in some other color than gray if you want it, but the reality is price and availability is everything. Where they might differ, is in the offers
of shelf stiffeners or added shelving that can be ordered. These are all "Starter" units meaning it can stand alone, or you can buy "add on sections" to attach to
the common post that comes with the "Starter" units. Adders are generally a few dollars cheaper because you don't get 4 posts.
